A pleasant day at Big Bear
We had a perfect winter day today, mostly sunny and crisp without much wind. Jim and I walked into town while the others spent the day on the slopes. Afterward we relaxed in the hot tub and then enjoyed a sushi meal prepared by Kong (plus lots of other goodies) followed by birthday cake for Nathan, two days early. The house is very spacious and comfortable.

Big Bear or bust
It almost busted Tim last year. They are expecting snow again this year on Sunday which will make an interesting drive home. We rented the Cabin tonight which looks very nice. Pool table, Foos ball and a Jacuzzi.
We'll pick mom and dad up at the airport and head right to Big Bear on Friday.

A Quiet Week on the Ison Blog
It looks like all the action has moved from the "Ison Family Blog" over to the "4wheels2kidsandadog" blog while Sarah and the kids are in Baja. So in keeping with the Mexican theme, I've posted a vintage Melaque photo with Sarah and mom at the head of the table. Anybody ready to give Melaque another try?
