The weather has been very nice. All of our back yard flowers are blooming and the fruit is ripening on the trees. Our house looks great from the back yard.
We also got our annual allotment of Avacados (seems like a lot of watering for 12 avacados)
And flowers all over.
Just gorgeous! Your house does look great from the back yard.
ReplyDeleteHow big is your avocado tree? Maybe it won't need as much watering once established.(?)
The flowers are beautiful. Do the avacados always come all at once, won't there be more? We have a pitiful 2 clumps of crocus at the lake but the daffodils should make their spectacular display in a couple of weeks.
ReplyDeleteThe avocado tree is not huge but at least 15 years old. The fruit comes all at once but you do not have to pick them all. They do not ripen on the tree but 3 or so days after picking.
ReplyDeleteAbout how many avocados do you have on the tree? Won't they fall off, and then ripen on the ground?
ReplyDeleteI remember mango season in Guatemala- Such a bonanza. The air smelled of ripe mango. Mangos rotting on the ground, the feral dogs were eating them. I love mangos, and could eat them until my face was dripping with the juices. But, back to avocados, I could see that all that would be a problem in the backyard...attracting vermin and whatnot.
It snowed in Rochester this morning. Your house looks lovely, Chris.
