I just got a hamster and named him Copernicus. he is very active. his two favorite activities so far are chewing the cage bars and attempting to run on top of his wheel.
Copernicus is actually black with a little bit of white on the underside of his tummy. I do not need the name list any more but thank you for telling me.
Hi Ben -- What sort of hamster is it: I read on Wikipedia that there are some different types. Syrian hamsters are generally golden colored, while other species are white or brown, or yellow, or black or mixed. I also read that they have poor eyesight but a good sense of smell and good very high frequency hearing. I do not know what kind of tricks they can do, or whether they like to be handled or have their back scratched. Lots of things to find out. Love GPa Jim
it took me a while to actually type anything without it being underlined or colored blue.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute animal!!! Is it actually grey, I thought they were brown? I like the name you chose (you left your name list here).

I have a fancy hamster. they do have bad eyesight and good hearing and sense of smell. today I held him for the first time and he was ok with it.
ReplyDeleteDo you keep Copernicus in your bedroom or downstairs?
