The Seahawks Parade

Since I didn't get around to watching a football game this year, I guess I never will. After all, if you are not aware yet, the Seattle Seahawks won the Super Bowl.... I guess that's a really big deal..... Or so the 700,000 people poring into downtown yesterday, and messing with my commute, were telling me. The boys got to skip school,  Bob took the day off, and the three of them joined the roaring crowds downtown. Only 8 kids showed up to Liam's class yesterday.
Ben found a tree to watch from

The day was freezing by Seattle standards-- 20 degrees or so.

A mass of humanity roaring together. Everyone screamed as loud as they could at 12:12. In Seattle the fans are considered the 12th man on the team.

  3. Being without cable, during the 4th quarter we watched the score as it developed on the NYTimes.com, as well as some replay videos. We found ourselves feeling pretty happy and knew the men in your household would be ecstatic.
