We were lucky to be in Seattle for this Green Lake event. It was lots of fun and we could cool off with a swim in the lake. Ben and two friends paddled the serpent boat designed by the friends' father. They won the first heat but got blown off course and came in third in the final runoff. The boat and crew won a $100 certificate from an Italian restaurant for their overall appearance.

The dragon certainly looks the most creative in the pictures you show. Not the most hydro dynamic however. The others that won look like decorated boats. Looks like a fun day.
ReplyDeleteThe boat actual went quite easily and tracked very well but the other boats had more adult muscle power.
