It's a beautiful evening on this first day of summer and longest day of the year. About 8:55 pm and the sun is setting although it is not a spectacular sunset due to haze at the horizon. The temp is down to near 85 from its high today of over 95. The water is clear and not too cold. We made a small dent in the burnable debris that lines our bank. Altogether a very nice evening at the lake and much better than sweltering in town.
Wish I was swimming next to you. It is still in the 60's here. I worry that summer will not arrive to Seattle this year, and am thankful for our trips to the South, and NY in August.
