(Chris) Nathan fell during a competition last weekend and broke his hand in four places. He did this at 9 am but did not come home until 7 pm with his hand very swollen. He has a removable cast that he can take off when he showers and eats. He was very happy when the doctor told him he can skate with his cast on.
Did it hurt Nathan?
ReplyDeleteMaybe while skating you should wear an elbow pad on your right arm in case you fall, you could use your forarm to catch yourself.
Did you keep skating after the injury? If you continue to skate you had better not be too daring until the hand heals. It makes me cringe to think of falling again on a broken hand.
